Social marketing is no longer just about communications. In recent years, social marketers have developed strategies based on a deeper understanding of consumer motivations that makes them arguably today's behaviour change experts.
We are delighted to welcome Nick Tancock who will present a case study on the development and launch of the successful 'Alcohol: Know Your Limits' campaign, aimed at tackling the rising problems of binge drinking and alcohol-related diseases.
The evening is being co-hosted by the newly-formed Social Marketing market interest group of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, who work closely with the Department of Health's National Centre for Social Marketing. We are especially keen to welcome NHS practitioners, media representatives and others with an interest in social marketing to the event.
